DAS 140 INSTRUCTIONS TRAINING FEE CONTRIBUTIONS REQUIRED ON PUBLIC WORKS LINK TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA DAS PUBLIC WORKS FAQ
Contractors doing work on public works projects are required to donate a training fee to a state approved apprenticeship committee.
The WBFAA Unilateral Apprenticeship and Training Program is a state approved apprenticeship committee statewide.
WBFAA member companies doing public works projects should complete the DAS 140 form and forward to: WBFAA UATC 333 Washington Boulevard, #433 Marina del Rey, CA 90292
TRAINING FEES WBFAA member companies pay $.15 per hour for all apprentices and journeymen on an ongoing basis ($25 per month).
WBFAA member companies on public works should apply the $.15 per hour as a credit towards any required public works project training fee contribution for technicians (Journeyman and Apprentice) who are enrolled in the WBFAA UATC program.
In addition, the balance of the required training fee can be sent directly to the WBFAA UATC to establish compliance with the public works project training fee mandate.

CREDIT FOR WBFAA UATC MONTHLY TRAINING FEE CREDIT OF $.15 PER HOUR -$15.00
TOTAL PAYMENT TO WBFAA UATC TRUST FUND: $45.00
NOTE: Please issue one check for each Training Trust Fund contribution. DO NOT combine with your WBFAA UATC monthly training fee check.
The WBFAA UATC will maintain DAS 140 forms on file in your company record as well as payment records. Contact WBFAA UATC
