What the WBFAA Apprenticeship Offers
This is a real job with real pay from day one. WBFAA’s three-year, state and federally approved program prepares you to become a certified fire and security systems technician. You’ll work full-time for a WBFAA member company while completing online coursework through Chabot College.

Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates are detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and motivated to build a long-term trade career. A high school diploma or GED is required. No prior experience is needed.

Certified technicians can work independently, move into management, or start their own companies. Demand across California remains high, with excellent job stability and career potential.
